Narrative:

I was flying my C310 into 3CK under the ord bravo. I canceled IFR 10 mi out; listened to the CTAF; and determined there was what sounded like a student and instructor doing touch-and-goes in the pattern. I idented them; announced I had them in sight on the CTAF; and that I would follow them in. I extended my downwind until they were almost down; announced base and final; and as I touched down they were just starting to turn off the runway onto the taxiway at the end of the runway. As he turned off; the skyhawk angrily announced on the CTAF that I was 'in violation' for landing while he was still on the runway. I was confused by that; since I had him in sight constantly; and was prepared to go around if he stopped on the runway (which he did not). The runway is somewhat short (3100 ft); but there was never any issue of safety. I assumed there might be a local procedure regarding 2 aircraft occupying the runway; and said something on the CTAF about being unaware of such procedure. The skyhawk; now even more angry; told me to read my aim. I am unaware of any section of the aim that prohibits touching down while another aircraft is not yet off the runway; nor any far (except the general right-of-way; and safety of flight regulations; none of which were violated. But; I am filing this in the event that I did commit a violation; partly because of the several announcements to that effect over the CTAF.

Title: C-310 LANDED AT UNCONTROLLED ARPT; FOLLOWING ANOTHER ACFT. WHEN ACFT TOUCHED DOWN; THE PRECEDING ACFT WAS EXITING THE SAME RWY. THE PLT OF THE PRECEDING ACFT COMPLAINED THAT THIS WAS AN UNSAFE AND PROHIBITED PRACTICE.

Narrative: I WAS FLYING MY C310 INTO 3CK UNDER THE ORD BRAVO. I EXTENDED MY DOWNWIND UNTIL THEY WERE ALMOST DOWN; ANNOUNCED BASE AND FINAL; AND AS I TOUCHED DOWN THEY WERE JUST STARTING TO TURN OFF THE RWY ONTO THE TXWY AT THE END OF THE RWY. AS HE TURNED OFF; THE SKYHAWK ANGRILY ANNOUNCED ON THE CTAF THAT I WAS 'IN VIOLATION' FOR LNDG WHILE HE WAS STILL ON THE RWY. I WAS CONFUSED BY THAT; SINCE I HAD HIM IN SIGHT CONSTANTLY; AND WAS PREPARED TO GO AROUND IF HE STOPPED ON THE RWY (WHICH HE DID NOT). THE RWY IS SOMEWHAT SHORT (3100 FT); BUT THERE WAS NEVER ANY ISSUE OF SAFETY. I ASSUMED THERE MIGHT BE A LCL PROC REGARDING 2 ACFT OCCUPYING THE RWY; AND SAID SOMETHING ON THE CTAF ABOUT BEING UNAWARE OF SUCH PROC. THE SKYHAWK; NOW EVEN MORE ANGRY; TOLD ME TO READ MY AIM. I AM UNAWARE OF ANY SECTION OF THE AIM THAT PROHIBITS TOUCHING DOWN WHILE ANOTHER ACFT IS NOT YET OFF THE RWY; NOR ANY FAR (EXCEPT THE GENERAL RIGHT-OF-WAY; AND SAFETY OF FLT REGS; NONE OF WHICH WERE VIOLATED. BUT; I AM FILING THIS IN THE EVENT THAT I DID COMMIT A VIOLATION; PARTLY BECAUSE OF THE SEVERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS TO THAT EFFECT OVER THE CTAF.
