Narrative:

Our ASR-8 is dropping aircraft targets totally off the radar and numerous coasting and nats. We need an ASR-11 to correct this problem. This is a major safety issue. In order to separate planes we need at least the aircraft target to provide the public with proper safety measures.

Title: SAV CTLR VOICED CONCERN REGARDING ONGOING TARGET LOSS ON THEIR PRESENT ASR-8 RADAR SYSTEM; SUGGESTING NEW ASR-11 WOULD SOLVE ISSUE.

Narrative: OUR ASR-8 IS DROPPING ACFT TARGETS TOTALLY OFF THE RADAR AND NUMEROUS COASTING AND NATS. WE NEED AN ASR-11 TO CORRECT THIS PROB. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. IN ORDER TO SEPARATE PLANES WE NEED AT LEAST THE ACFT TARGET TO PROVIDE THE PUBLIC WITH PROPER SAFETY MEASURES.
