Narrative:

Parked at gate and doing weight and balance we noticed that the center of gravity was past the aft limits. I took the center of gravity wheel and spun 5 people out of C and put them in a. This put us in the aft caution range which I thought said empty seats in each section must be aft. After we took off; I checked again and saw it said all empty seats must be aft. We still had people seated in section C while we were in the aft caution zone. The flight was conducted without incident. I should have read the caution remarks more closely and I think I assumed the warnings were the same as the EMB145 which stated each section must be aft.
