Narrative:
Flight was all normal until 5 mins after takeoff. Master caution came on. Low pressure light on overhead for #1 system a hydraulic pump. A short time later the low pressure light for the other system a hydraulic pump came on. System a hydraulic quantity gauge indicated empty. We leveled the aircraft at 10000 ft and engaged the autoplt. PNF accomplished the hydraulic system a quantity or pressure loss irregular procedure; notified dispatch; requested return to ZZZ from ATC; manually extended gear; cleared runway; stopped on taxiway a; towed into gate by ground crew.
