Approximately 11000 ft (10 min prior to landing); EICAS 'right hydraulic system' ran ecl. No right hydraulic available. Quantity showed blank. Assumed leak and potential for ignition upon landing. Requested equipment to meet aircraft; check aircraft; then follow to gate. First officer flying. Bunkie talked to flight attendant and passenger; and checked landing distance penalty for right hydraulic system inoperative. Dispatch advised at time of failure; and debriefed on telephone. Landing/parking uneventful.
