Narrative:

First officer briefed and flew the staav three RNAV departure. All the points and restrs depicted along the route of flight on the left side of chart were covered; including the lower left boxed items. Neither the first officer nor myself saw the speed restr for batis in the upper far right on the other side of the fold. Passing tomis and above 7000 ft (making sure all altitude restrs would be met) and with green DOT above 220 KTS; 250 KTS was selected and aircraft reached approximately 230-240 KTS passing batis. Error discovered when putting the chart away. Flight crew exceeded 220 KTS at batis. Include speed restrs at specific points along route and in the routing box. An operational read file prior to the use of the new RNAV departures with a caution about the speed restr; including guidance for required speeds above 220 KTS; would have been a great help.
