Narrative:

The 4080 ft peak was not on the egpws database. You might want to check the databases for this discrepancy. I haven't landed on runway 19L for a long time and this peak is very close to the base flight path. On flight to las we were given runway 19L for landing; we almost always get runway 25L. As we approached from the southeast we were given vectors north and then west for a long base leg. It was night VFR with a full moon so we could see the outline of the terrain. At 5000 ft and northeast of the field at las I noticed a high peak to my northwest about 3 miles ahead. We were given a visual and I descended to about 4500 ft and as we passed the peak to our right we could see that the peak was almost at our altitude and seemed rather close. We had previously noticed that the highest elevation for that very area was 4080 ft. We both had our egpws on; my map display was at 20 NM; other terrain displayed well but this particular peak was not on the egpws and we never got a warning color detail.

Title: ACR CAPT RPTS A CHARTED 4080 FT PEAK OFF LAS RWY 19L APCH COURSE IS APPARENTLY NOT IN HIS EGPWS DATABASE.

Narrative: THE 4080 FT PEAK WAS NOT ON THE EGPWS DATABASE. YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK THE DATABASES FOR THIS DISCREPANCY. I HAVEN'T LANDED ON RWY 19L FOR A LONG TIME AND THIS PEAK IS VERY CLOSE TO THE BASE FLT PATH. ON FLT TO LAS WE WERE GIVEN RWY 19L FOR LNDG; WE ALMOST ALWAYS GET RWY 25L. AS WE APCHED FROM THE SOUTHEAST WE WERE GIVEN VECTORS NORTH AND THEN WEST FOR A LONG BASE LEG. IT WAS NIGHT VFR WITH A FULL MOON SO WE COULD SEE THE OUTLINE OF THE TERRAIN. AT 5000 FT AND NE OF THE FIELD AT LAS I NOTICED A HIGH PEAK TO MY NW ABOUT 3 MILES AHEAD. WE WERE GIVEN A VISUAL AND I DSNDED TO ABOUT 4500 FT AND AS WE PASSED THE PEAK TO OUR RIGHT WE COULD SEE THAT THE PEAK WAS ALMOST AT OUR ALT AND SEEMED RATHER CLOSE.
