Narrative:

Approaching dtw we were cleared for a visual approach to runway 22R. At approximately 2000 ft AGL; we were cleared for a visual approach to runway 22L. PF proceeded to a normal landing and after 30 KTS; I resumed control of the aircraft and exited at taxiway Y9 as cleared by tower. Ground control cleared us to turn left on taxiway Y and to the gate. Turn was completed normally and after getting to the gate did I realize the turn was prohibited to our aircraft. At no time did the aircraft deviate off the taxiway and the turn was normal. I had the landing on runway 22R on my mind and missed the warning for taxiway Y9 and when ground cleared us to make the turn I missed it.
