Narrative:
The guideman stopped me too far forward on the wrong stop line. The jetway driver informed me that the left engine went under the jetway and cleared by only inches. I informed sea operations and a supervisor was called. I do not know what the guideman was looking at.

Title: A B737-300 RAMP GATE MARSHALER STOPPED THE ACFT TOO FAR FORWARD CAUSING AN ACFT'S ENG TO GO UNDER A JETWAY MISSING IT BY INCHES.
Narrative: THE GUIDEMAN STOPPED ME TOO FAR FORWARD ON THE WRONG STOP LINE. THE JETWAY DRIVER INFORMED ME THAT THE L ENG WENT UNDER THE JETWAY AND CLRED BY ONLY INCHES. I INFORMED SEA OPS AND A SUPVR WAS CALLED. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE GUIDEMAN WAS LOOKING AT.
