Narrative:

Was asked to give routing change to aircraft by santa maria prior to leaving my airspace (approximately 45 mins). Accomplished request but kept receiving route discrepancy message on atop when route was fine. This is unsafe situation as this erroneous message is one of many that take your awareness and time from other duties.

Narrative: WAS ASKED TO GIVE ROUTING CHANGE TO ACFT BY SANTA MARIA PRIOR TO LEAVING MY AIRSPACE (APPROX 45 MINS). ACCOMPLISHED REQUEST BUT KEPT RECEIVING RTE DISCREPANCY MESSAGE ON ATOP WHEN RTE WAS FINE. THIS IS UNSAFE SITUATION AS THIS ERRONEOUS MESSAGE IS ONE OF MANY THAT TAKE YOUR AWARENESS AND TIME FROM OTHER DUTIES.
