Narrative:

Left-hand horizontal stabilizer leading edge dent required daily re-inspection. Daily re-inspection was missed on jul/thu/06. I was the dayshift controller. The aircraft was at ZZZ and received an equipment check that night and they didn't document the re-inspection. It started its flying day in and stayed overnight at ZZZ. I had entered a flight note for that night and didn't follow up the next day. I took it for granted that would comply with the re-inspection. Maintenance computer doesn't get updated right away and when it was noticed it was too late. The leading edge has since been repaired and no other damage was noticed.
