Narrative:
On jun/fri/06 at XA00 the heavy check maintenance supervisor on duty notified maintenance control that he found a part here at ZZZ that belonged to aircraft X. Maintenance control found that aircraft X was on the ZZZ1 ramp and had maintenance check the aircraft. The part in question was found to be missing from the aircraft. A logbook entry was made on log page. Maintenance installed a new blowout door cage from stock and cleared the logbook entry.

Title: DHC8-400; AFTER RELEASE FROM A HVY CHK; A PART WAS FOUND ON THE HANGAR STORAGE RACK WITH COMPONENT TAG FOR RELEASED ACFT.
Narrative: ON JUN/FRI/06 AT XA00 THE HVY CHK MAINT SUPVR ON DUTY NOTIFIED MAINT CTL THAT HE FOUND A PART HERE AT ZZZ THAT BELONGED TO ACFT X. MAINT CTL FOUND THAT ACFT X WAS ON THE ZZZ1 RAMP AND HAD MAINT CHK THE ACFT. THE PART IN QUESTION WAS FOUND TO BE MISSING FROM THE ACFT. A LOGBOOK ENTRY WAS MADE ON LOG PAGE. MAINT INSTALLED A NEW BLOWOUT DOOR CAGE FROM STOCK AND CLRED THE LOGBOOK ENTRY.
