Narrative:

The navigation data loaded early this month was corrupt. A new navigation data was to be loaded into aircraft. The new card from flight operations records was not the proper database and was loaded into aircraft FMS. Job card was accomplished and signed. After I was notified that there was an error; I contacted maintenance control. The plane flew. Technician was to follow up and check the database. The memory card was not loaded properly. This is the lead technician's duty to make sure proper materials are given to mechanics to accomplish their tasks.
