Narrative:
Miscomputed passenger weight and aircraft takeoff weight. Was 100 pounds over maximum takeoff weight. Aircraft could not climb after normal rotation and liftoff. Maximum rate of climb 300 FPM; maximum altitude gained 300 ft. Notified tower we needed to return for landing due to unable to climb. Flew pattern at 300 ft MSL (250 ft AGL). Normal landing.

Narrative: MISCOMPUTED PAX WT AND ACFT TKOF WT. WAS 100 LBS OVER MAX TKOF WT. ACFT COULD NOT CLB AFTER NORMAL ROTATION AND LIFTOFF. MAX RATE OF CLB 300 FPM; MAX ALT GAINED 300 FT. NOTIFIED TWR WE NEEDED TO RETURN FOR LNDG DUE TO UNABLE TO CLB. FLEW PATTERN AT 300 FT MSL (250 FT AGL). NORMAL LNDG.
