Narrative:

We started our taxi to runway 24 at A6. We were instructed to hold short of runway 24 which we read back and did. After several mins; tower stated 'aircraft 1; cleared for immediate takeoff; traffic on 3 mi final.' at this time; we read this back and completed our before takeoff checklist. On takeoff roll; aircraft 2 cut us off. We aborted takeoff and cleared the runway. The B737 on final had to go around due to the incursion. In the future; tower could use the whole tail number to prevent these occurrences. In this situation; our aircraft (aircraft 1) was cleared for takeoff; but the other aircraft (who was aircraft 2) thought he was. If we had not aborted the takeoff when we did; it could have resulted in an accident.
