Narrative:

Aircraft X arrived from the gate with the discrepancy of #1 engine hydraulic leak. The information from the gate mechanics was that it was a thrust reverser actuator. I entered the information on the supervisor daily turnover and marked the rii box with a '?' because it was unknown if it was the actuator that was leaking. The mechanics inspected the #1 engine and discovered the manual drive unit was leaking. We robbed this part from aircraft Y and returned the aircraft to service; not realizing that the manual drive unit was on the rii list. Due to the time of night; I continued getting ready for my turnover; and did not think to look for the drive unit on the rii list.
