Narrative:
We were cleared to enter holding at jenno intersection as published on the lvz 5 arrival to jfk at FL250. After entering holding; we received a clearance limit to lendy and to descend to FL230. We inadvertently climbed to FL254. The following happened at the time: TCAS TA; call from ATC; and I saw as decreasing while in a climb. The autoplt and autothrottles were disengaged and expedited descent to FL230.

Narrative: WE WERE CLRED TO ENTER HOLDING AT JENNO INTXN AS PUBLISHED ON THE LVZ 5 ARR TO JFK AT FL250. AFTER ENTERING HOLDING; WE RECEIVED A CLRNC LIMIT TO LENDY AND TO DSND TO FL230. WE INADVERTENTLY CLBED TO FL254. THE FOLLOWING HAPPENED AT THE TIME: TCAS TA; CALL FROM ATC; AND I SAW AS DECREASING WHILE IN A CLB. THE AUTOPLT AND AUTOTHROTTLES WERE DISENGAGED AND EXPEDITED DSCNT TO FL230.
