Narrative:

I was working aircraft #2. Aircraft #1 was handed off to another facility and the data block dropped off of my scope (timed out). I noticed aircraft #2 climbing into aircraft #1 (limited data block -- beacon and altitude only) but it was too late to take action. I notified my supervisor. Supplemental information from acn 686756: controller climbed sbound aircraft X under wbound aircraft Y. Aircraft Y had been a pointout whose full data block had disappeared because it timed out.
