Narrative:
At cruise FL330 prior to descent; a vibration was felt in the cockpit. Vibration not felt in forward galley; confirmed by purser. 15 mins later; a strong electrical odor was observed. Called purser to confirm no objects burning in oven (nothing in oven). We depowered galley; and then ran emergency smoke; cabin/cockpit checklist as we declared an emergency and diverted to nearest suitable airport. On landing; crash fire rescue equipment saw no visible smoke or fire. Taxied to gate and completely depowered aircraft. All 101 souls on board departed through jetway without further incident.

Narrative: AT CRUISE FL330 PRIOR TO DSCNT; A VIBRATION WAS FELT IN THE COCKPIT. VIBRATION NOT FELT IN FORWARD GALLEY; CONFIRMED BY PURSER. 15 MINS LATER; A STRONG ELECTRICAL ODOR WAS OBSERVED. TAXIED TO GATE AND COMPLETELY DEPOWERED ACFT. ALL 101 SOULS ON BOARD DEPARTED THROUGH JETWAY WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
