Narrative:
Lost 1 generator over ZZZ. Because this generator pwred the WX radar; captain decided to land in ZZZ and check generator. We did. Plane removed from service. Passenger and crew continued on to ZZZ1 on a very light flight. The surge of the generator flashed the lavatory aisle lights several times and the chime went on and off with the lights (not the cabin lights -- they were fine). Otherwise nothing notable.
