Narrative:
On climb out we received a message from load planning that said the following: 'ramp has advised me they need to correct their final loading figures. Please stand by for revised weight.' this incident highlights a significant safety of flight issue with regard to proper weight and balance data. There appears (from our end) to be consistent communication difficulties between the ramp; load planning; and the aircraft. After the initial message; we never received any additional information regarding the load figures.
