Narrative:

I was taxiing the aircraft on single engine. The green hydraulic system lost all fluid. The aircraft lost nosewheel steering and began to head toward the grass on the right of taxiway. I attempted to apply the brakes while telling the first officer I had no brakes. As I was reaching for the yellow pump and still applying brakes (I still did not have them) the alternate brakes grabbed and we came to an abrupt stop. When we were done securing the aircraft and doing the ECAM; I called to see how the flight attendants were doing. I was informed at that time that the purser had fallen and hurt her back. She said she didn't need immediate attention but her back was in a lot of pain. I also learned a little later the other 2 flight attendants were injured in the stop. Medical attention was requested and received with 2 of them going to the hospital to be checked. We were probably taxiing around 15 KTS. There were no reported passenger injuries. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the cause of the loss of the green hydraulic system was unknown as maintenance has not released the maintenance action taken. Supplemental information from acn 669337: an aircraft behind us indicated we had fluid pouring from the belly of the aircraft. We told ground control we were going to have to be towed back to the gate due to no nosewheel steering. Callback conversation with reporter acn 669337 revealed the following information: the reporter stated that maintenance has released no information on the loss of the green hydraulic system and the component failure.
