Narrative:

On (date) I was the lead tech at the hangar with 3 mechanics. We were attempting to do a complete jacking of aircraft. We were trying to figure out the formula as detailed in figure 202 of job card X to make sure that the aircraft was within the center of gravity envelope for safe jacking. Supervisor was pressuring me to jack the aircraft without figuring the center of gravity. We spoke with our local inspector who recommended I call station inspections; which I did. Station inspections advised us on how to complete the formula; which we continued to do when supervisor came to the hangar from the terminal. Supervisor did not make any attempt to assist us or to see what problem we were having. He proceeded to give me a negative counseling session on how slow I and my crew were to jack the aircraft. He told me earlier in the day that the aircraft 'only has 3050 pounds of fuel; just jack it.' he told me to skip the step in the job card that included figure 202. To my knowledge; none of my crew has been shown or has received any specific training as to how to calculate the % mac as shown in figure 202.

Title: AN EMB145 WAS TO BE JACKED. LEAD TECHNICIAN AND 3 TECHNICIANS HAD DIFFICULTY CALCULATING % OF MAC PER JOB CARD. MAINT RPTR STATES THAT SUPVR MADE COMMENTS CONCERNING THE SLOWNESS OF WORK BUT DID NOT ASSIST.

Narrative: ON (DATE) I WAS THE LEAD TECH AT THE HANGAR WITH 3 MECHS. WE WERE ATTEMPTING TO DO A COMPLETE JACKING OF ACFT. WE WERE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE FORMULA AS DETAILED IN FIGURE 202 OF JOB CARD X TO MAKE SURE THAT THE ACFT WAS WITHIN THE CTR OF GRAVITY ENVELOPE FOR SAFE JACKING. SUPVR WAS PRESSURING ME TO JACK THE ACFT WITHOUT FIGURING THE CTR OF GRAVITY. WE SPOKE WITH OUR LCL INSPECTOR WHO RECOMMENDED I CALL STATION INSPECTIONS; WHICH I DID. STATION INSPECTIONS ADVISED US ON HOW TO COMPLETE THE FORMULA; WHICH WE CONTINUED TO DO WHEN SUPVR CAME TO THE HANGAR FROM THE TERMINAL. SUPVR DID NOT MAKE ANY ATTEMPT TO ASSIST US OR TO SEE WHAT PROB WE WERE HAVING. HE PROCEEDED TO GIVE ME A NEGATIVE COUNSELING SESSION ON HOW SLOW I AND MY CREW WERE TO JACK THE ACFT. HE TOLD ME EARLIER IN THE DAY THAT THE ACFT 'ONLY HAS 3050 LBS OF FUEL; JUST JACK IT.' HE TOLD ME TO SKIP THE STEP IN THE JOB CARD THAT INCLUDED FIGURE 202. TO MY KNOWLEDGE; NONE OF MY CREW HAS BEEN SHOWN OR HAS RECEIVED ANY SPECIFIC TRAINING AS TO HOW TO CALCULATE THE % MAC AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 202.
