Narrative:

The roller cam arm was placed in upside down after changing the bearing. The cam arm passed the operations check with the hydraulics off like it said to do in step 16.2. I missed a north/a on step 19 which states; 'if the roller spring adjustment was changed; proceed to step 19. If no adjustments were changed; proceed to step 20 and north/a 19.' (discrepancy was discovered when hydraulic power was applied to system and control column would not center.) recommendation: add a step to turn on hydraulics to make sure ctring unit ctrs.

Title: A B737-300 HAD AN AILERON FEEL AND CTRING UNIT PROB; A ROLLER CAM ARM WAS INSTALLED UPSIDE DOWN.

Narrative: THE ROLLER CAM ARM WAS PLACED IN UPSIDE DOWN AFTER CHANGING THE BEARING. THE CAM ARM PASSED THE OPS CHK WITH THE HYDS OFF LIKE IT SAID TO DO IN STEP 16.2.
