Narrative:

The oil marker placards on the B777 fleet were not modified to reflect the oil change from 2380 to 2197 for the idg and variable speed constant frequency. This placard is found on the oil tank by the oil service door. Per maintenance manual 11-25-01-2 figure 201; both detail east and H are FAA required placards. Documented discrepancy in aircraft X logbook and aircraft Y ETOPS paperwork; then filed this report. Apparently the idg and variable speed constant frequency oil modification did not include updating the placards on the engine oil tank.
