Narrative:

For the past six months or more; aircraft have reported hispanic music and talk radio on 126.82. Sometimes; aircraft have left the frequency in search of a clear one. What if we need to give an aircraft a clearance for separation? We (the controllers) have reported this problem almost daily and filled out reports (within ZTL) and this problem needs to be resolved. I think they searched once for the source and claimed to find nothing. Again; this is a daily problem and annoyance for pilots and controllers. Pilots also tie up the frequency when we are busy with complaints. Obviously reporting this 'in house' is getting us nowhere. The frequency 126.82; gunter sector 02 ZTL. It occurs mostly within 20 miles of VUZ145020.

Title: ZTL CTLR EXPRESSED FRUSTRATION REGARDING RADIO INTERFERENCE FROM AN UNIDENTIFIED RADIO STATION; SOMETIMES RENDERING THE ATC FREQ UNUSABLE.

Narrative: FOR THE PAST SIX MONTHS OR MORE; ACFT HAVE RPTED HISPANIC MUSIC AND TALK RADIO ON 126.82. SOMETIMES; ACFT HAVE LEFT THE FREQ IN SEARCH OF A CLR ONE. WHAT IF WE NEED TO GIVE AN ACFT A CLRNC FOR SEPARATION? WE (THE CTLRS) HAVE RPTED THIS PROB ALMOST DAILY AND FILLED OUT RPTS (WITHIN ZTL) AND THIS PROB NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED. I THINK THEY SEARCHED ONCE FOR THE SOURCE AND CLAIMED TO FIND NOTHING. AGAIN; THIS IS A DAILY PROB AND ANNOYANCE FOR PLTS AND CTLRS. PLTS ALSO TIE UP THE FREQ WHEN WE ARE BUSY WITH COMPLAINTS. OBVIOUSLY RPTING THIS 'IN HOUSE' IS GETTING US NOWHERE. THE FREQ 126.82; GUNTER SECTOR 02 ZTL. IT OCCURS MOSTLY WITHIN 20 MILES OF VUZ145020.
