Narrative:

Teb departure SID; runway 24; I forgot to go 4.5 miles DME before climbing to 2000 ft. At 1800 ft controller told me to stop climb at 1500 ft. I was aware of the departure and the problems with it; and we briefed the departure before takeoff.
