Narrative:

On feb/mon/05; I released aircraft X to service from a time controled service check and 'a' check when the work package had 3 open non routine items. We started accomplishing the time controled service check in ZZZ 3 weeks ago. Since the start; we've utilized the technician's non routine write-up forms to document non routine discrepancies during the time controled service check. If an 'X' check or 'a' check is concurrently assigned; we still document all non routine items on the technician's non routine write-up form (we do not use the non routine pages at the back of the 'X' check or 'a' check). On the night of feb/mon/05; a contract employee for company Y documented 3 passenger entertainment video component discrepancies on the non routine pages at the back of the 'a' check work card. These items were missed by the time controled service check crew and my review of the work package failed to identify these 3 items since we were all focusing on technician's non routine write-up forms. While these items did not affect safety of flight; they were items covered by our FAA approved priority deferral list program.
