Narrative:

The repair was under normal conditions and checked out fine (#1 engine driven fuel pump). However, I overlooked the fact that the residual fuel inside the off unit is considered hazmat and shipped it out in the morning on a flight to ZZZ. Company has informed me of proper hazmat procedures.

Narrative: THE REPAIR WAS UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS AND CHKED OUT FINE (#1 ENG DRIVEN FUEL PUMP). HOWEVER, I OVERLOOKED THE FACT THAT THE RESIDUAL FUEL INSIDE THE OFF UNIT IS CONSIDERED HAZMAT AND SHIPPED IT OUT IN THE MORNING ON A FLT TO ZZZ. COMPANY HAS INFORMED ME OF PROPER HAZMAT PROCS.
