Narrative:
Acting as crew chief, I assigned a mechanic to inbound aircraft. Original aircraft for trip went OTS for hydraulic leak and aircraft X was moved up to cover. I was completing 6TH trip of the shift and did not notice placarded system on aircraft X. Failed to notify mechanic of requirement.

Narrative: ACTING AS CREW CHIEF, I ASSIGNED A MECH TO INBOUND ACFT. ORIGINAL ACFT FOR TRIP WENT OTS FOR HYD LEAK AND ACFT X WAS MOVED UP TO COVER. I WAS COMPLETING 6TH TRIP OF THE SHIFT AND DID NOT NOTICE PLACARDED SYS ON ACFT X. FAILED TO NOTIFY MECH OF REQUIREMENT.
