Narrative:

Departed for XXX following normal preflight and taxi. First officer's leg. Climbing through 8000 ft in IMC, we received a bleed 2 leak. Decided to return to ord after running appropriate checklists. I took my landing weight off of the performance page of the FMS. It was wrong, but I did not catch it. First officer flew until we were on the approach. I did the landing. I estimated about 150 FPM sink at touchdown. Debriefed maintenance at gate while crew and passenger moved to new airplane. Dispatch asked if I landed overweight. I said no. I believed that. During subsequent flight, I began to doubt my belief. Upon return to ord, I went to maintenance and checked on the landing fuel. Doing the math from memory, I am sure we were overweight -- 1500-2000 pounds. I then wrote the jet up for an overweight landing. Aircraft had not flown again.
