Narrative:

After waiting short of runway 16R at smf for weight and balance numbers (5 mins), we received them with an amendment to our allowable takeoff weight. After takeoff, climbing through 10000 ft, we received an ACARS message at XA31Z from smf operations saying 'just advised that live dog was loaded in pit #1, 90 pounds not included in weights, etc.' so we were over release weight? And possibly center of gravity?

Narrative: AFTER WAITING SHORT OF RWY 16R AT SMF FOR WT AND BAL NUMBERS (5 MINS), WE RECEIVED THEM WITH AN AMENDMENT TO OUR ALLOWABLE TKOF WT. AFTER TKOF, CLBING THROUGH 10000 FT, WE RECEIVED AN ACARS MESSAGE AT XA31Z FROM SMF OPS SAYING 'JUST ADVISED THAT LIVE DOG WAS LOADED IN PIT #1, 90 LBS NOT INCLUDED IN WTS, ETC.'
