The baset 2 arrival at lax (dated jul/fri/04) shows waypoint abree after pgs. B737 FMC database shows waypoint bugga after pgs at exact same location instead of abree. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: determined the aircraft database is correct. The STAR aeronautical chart was not revised in a timely fashion. Updating is in progress.

Narrative: THE BASET 2 ARR AT LAX (DATED JUL/FRI/04) SHOWS WAYPOINT ABREE AFTER PGS. B737 FMC DATABASE SHOWS WAYPOINT BUGGA AFTER PGS AT EXACT SAME LOCATION INSTEAD OF ABREE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: DETERMINED THE ACFT DATABASE IS CORRECT. THE STAR AERO CHART WAS NOT REVISED IN A TIMELY FASHION. UPDATING IS IN PROGRESS.
