Narrative:
Cleared to descend from 6000 ft to 4000 ft. Initiated slow descent. Captain altimeter read 4100 ft when I noticed copilot's altimeter indicated 3760 ft. I pulled up, and was climbing as ATC queried my assigned altitude. The primary altimeter had stuck on 4100 ft. This altimeter had done the same thing on a flight on oct/wed/04 or oct/thu/04 and had been reported to maintenance by me, after which I was assured the lines and instrument had been 'blown out.' I have reported this incident to maintenance this date (nov/tue/04).
