Narrative:

Aircraft was possibly damaged when jetway (stairs) were rolled against the aircraft. The crew was informed on oct/sun/04. The ground crew said nothing to the crew when the alleged event happened. The crew did not notice anything unusual during the deplaning process, or the preflight inspection. Corrective actions: the ramp crew should immediately inform the captain of anything which effects the aircraft and file a written report to the company promptly.

Title: A PARKED MD80 WAS STRUCK BY A PAX LOADING STAIR VEHICLE. THE GND CREW FAILED TO RPT THE INCIDENT TO THE FLT CREW. 6 DAYS ELAPSED TILL NOTIFICATION.

Narrative: ACFT WAS POSSIBLY DAMAGED WHEN JETWAY (STAIRS) WERE ROLLED AGAINST THE ACFT. THE CREW WAS INFORMED ON OCT/SUN/04. THE GND CREW SAID NOTHING TO THE CREW WHEN THE ALLEGED EVENT HAPPENED. THE CREW DID NOT NOTICE ANYTHING UNUSUAL DURING THE DEPLANING PROCESS, OR THE PREFLT INSPECTION. CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: THE RAMP CREW SHOULD IMMEDIATELY INFORM THE CAPT OF ANYTHING WHICH EFFECTS THE ACFT AND FILE A WRITTEN RPT TO THE COMPANY PROMPTLY.
