Narrative:
According to the PIC, the captain stated that when switching the aircraft from a takeoff confign to a clean confign the main hydraulic pump in the #1 engine failed. We had not cleared 10000 ft and returned to mia without incident. When we parked at the gate, the aircraft was taken OTS. After a 2 hour wait, flight abc proceeded to phl on a different B757.

Title: A B757 FLT ATTENDANT EXPERIENCED A RETURN TO THE DEP ARPT DUE TO A HYD PUMP FAILURE.
Narrative: ACCORDING TO THE PIC, THE CAPT STATED THAT WHEN SWITCHING THE ACFT FROM A TKOF CONFIGN TO A CLEAN CONFIGN THE MAIN HYD PUMP IN THE #1 ENG FAILED. WE HAD NOT CLRED 10000 FT AND RETURNED TO MIA WITHOUT INCIDENT. WHEN WE PARKED AT THE GATE, THE ACFT WAS TAKEN OTS. AFTER A 2 HR WAIT, FLT ABC PROCEEDED TO PHL ON A DIFFERENT B757.
