Inspection job card X outboard mid-flap spherical bearing retainer inspection requires that retainer part number 69-76586-1 be replaced with retainer part number 69-61998-1 according to boeing ipc figure 57-53-01 item 75 part number 69-61998-1 is a deleted part number and is no longer available from boeing replacement part number is 69-76586-1, the same part number that si 11427-57 says to replace. Question why are we installing parts that boeing says to discard and are not available?
