Narrative:
Upon receiving 64 blades on shop order X, I noticed that they had not been plastic media blasted at shop. I asked the crew chief to send them back and he told me to blast them with 500 grit aluminum oxide to remove the anti-galling compound.

Title: MD80 N2 COMPRESSOR BLADES WERE DELIVERED TO THE PARTS WASHING STATION IMPROPERLY CLEANED. STILL HAD ANTI-GALLING COMPOUND ON BLADES.
Narrative: UPON RECEIVING 64 BLADES ON SHOP ORDER X, I NOTICED THAT THEY HAD NOT BEEN PLASTIC MEDIA BLASTED AT SHOP. I ASKED THE CREW CHIEF TO SEND THEM BACK AND HE TOLD ME TO BLAST THEM WITH 500 GRIT ALUMINUM OXIDE TO REMOVE THE ANTI-GALLING COMPOUND.
