Narrative:

After takeoff the first officer noticed that we didn't have pressurization indications on the EICAS. We leveled at 8000 ft and ATC descended us to 7000 ft. After trying to troubleshoot the problem we contacted our dispatcher and he patched us to maintenance center, told them the problem, what we tried to troubleshoot and they told us to reset circuit breaker B8, which corrected the problem. We had been overflying the stl area, and after recalculating the fuel it was decided and agreed that I would return to stl for more fuel, since it would have been very tight with what I had on board.
