A ZID ARTCC radar controller has an E145 descending to FL290 and while handing the aircraft off to ZKC misspeaks and descends the flight to FL260. The ZKC controller missed the pilot's report descending to FL260 and vectors the aircraft into a conflict with ah HS25.

Narrative:

I coordinated aircraft #1 on a 270 degree heading descending to FL290. I inadvertently descended aircraft #1 to FL260. I xferred communications of aircraft #1 when he was descending out of FL350. ZKC missed the check-on of aircraft #1 descending to FL260. ZKC then vectored aircraft #1 into aircraft #2 causing the operational error.
