Narrative:

During approach to runway 13R, flight attendant called to tell us a passenger was not responding to conversation and appeared to be semi-conscious. A doctor was on board and looking at the passenger. We declared an emergency and requested expedited handling from approach. We were switch to tower and cleared to land. After landing, we received expedited clearance to the gate where we were met by the paramedics. Oxygen was administered to the passenger before we landed and during taxi. By the time we got to the gate, the passenger was alert. Paramedics took control. Kudos for the cabin crew, they did a good job.
