Narrative:

I was working aircraft X after accepting the sector from another controller. When I sat down the conflict alert activated on aircraft X, another aircraft. I asked the controller I had relieved if they had pointed out aircraft X to tol sector (which is the sector that had the other aircraft in it). When the controller I had relieved verified this, I suppressed the conflict alert. A few mins later the controller at det sector called me and asked if I was working aircraft X and then asked if I was turning him. I said for what and he said for the jet link. At that time I saw the limited target at FL230 and that the 2 aircraft were going to pass abeam and 4 mi or so, so I asked aircraft X to expedite his climb.
