Narrative:

On jun/thu/04, I was signed off accomplished login on the ads (automatic data system) system. FAA made me aware on jul/wed/04 that we do not have an operational check for this system in maintenance manual. Pilot accomplished logon and operations check was normal and aircraft was safe for flight since this system is used only on international trips.

Narrative: ON JUN/THU/04, I WAS SIGNED OFF ACCOMPLISHED LOGIN ON THE ADS (AUTOMATIC DATA SYS) SYS. FAA MADE ME AWARE ON JUL/WED/04 THAT WE DO NOT HAVE AN OPERATIONAL CHK FOR THIS SYS IN MAINT MANUAL. PLT ACCOMPLISHED LOGON AND OPS CHK WAS NORMAL AND ACFT WAS SAFE FOR FLT SINCE THIS SYS IS USED ONLY ON INTL TRIPS.
