Narrative:

On approach to runway 9R at ord, the flap system developed a split (asymmetry) indication after selecting landing gear down and flap handle to 15 degrees. Even though the flap indicator showed an asymmetric condition the airplane flew perfectly level. There was no rolling condition or flight control problem at all. Crew decided to continue the approach to a landing utilizing flap 15 degree landing procedures.
