Narrative:

On departure we were asked if we were assigned the wylyy departure. I as the PNF, responded that we were going to glyde intersection as the ATC clearance section stated that we were to fly bos-glyde baf J77 ptw, etc. The controller (bos departure) said to look in the remarks section. There it said wylyy four departure. I apologized and she said no problem, gave us a heading and that was that. All other pre departure clearance's for that pairing, and all I can ever remember, had/has assigned SID in the ATC clearance section. Why not bos? This is a problem (potentially large problem) that I feel necessitates immediate attention system wide! The pre departure clearance's, at times, are confusing enough without assigned sids and stars being hidden in remarks text. Have the ATC clearance section read as it would be assigned by voice. Why hide the SID and or STAR in the remarks?
