Narrative:
I was giving scenic flts from mgj (orange county) to new daltz. Received a briefing from new york FSS and parachute tfr advisories. Nothing noted for gardiner which depicts parachutes on the sectional. Observed a twin otter climbing and circling above me. Observed parachutes deployed in front of me. Turned sharply south. Had the skydivers not deployed chutes, I would probably not have seen the falling bodies.

Narrative: I WAS GIVING SCENIC FLTS FROM MGJ (ORANGE COUNTY) TO NEW DALTZ. RECEIVED A BRIEFING FROM NEW YORK FSS AND PARACHUTE TFR ADVISORIES. NOTHING NOTED FOR GARDINER WHICH DEPICTS PARACHUTES ON THE SECTIONAL. OBSERVED A TWIN OTTER CLBING AND CIRCLING ABOVE ME. OBSERVED PARACHUTES DEPLOYED IN FRONT OF ME. TURNED SHARPLY S. HAD THE SKYDIVERS NOT DEPLOYED CHUTES, I WOULD PROBABLY NOT HAVE SEEN THE FALLING BODIES.
