Narrative:

2 days prior to our acceptance of aircraft, aircraft had write-up for bleed #2 leak in climb out. After boarding and prior to pushback, we received EICAS bleed #2 leak and leak light in engine #2 bleed selector switch. Confign was both engine bleeds closed, APU bleed open, xbleed open, both packs on, no engines running, APU running. We called maintenance and put in aml (aircraft maintenance log). Maintenance came to aircraft and from the beginning, both captain and myself felt maintenance personnel were distraction and did not seem interested in solving our problem. We had complied with epc and aom checklists. Approximately 2 mins after completing checklist, warning went away. Maintenance felt this was acceptable and returned aircraft to service with operations check ok entry. While, maintenance was still in cockpit with same confign as above, we. Again received bleed #2 leak warning. Again we complied with all checklists. Maintenance took possession of aircraft for approximately 1.5 hours and returned it to us, again with operations checks ok, could not duplicate entry. 10 mins after we took possession of aircraft, while still at gate, bleed #2 leak message appeared again -- third time in 2 hours. Our flight was cancelled. Next morning, captain repositioned aircraft to ZZZ1. Maintenance corrective action was again 'operations checks ok -- could not duplicate.' this seems completely unacceptable to have the same warning 3 times in 3 hours, 4 times in 2 days and have the corrective action be 'could not duplicate.' I would like the FAA's opinion if our maintenance procedures are proper.

Title: AN EMBRAER JET FO RPTS CHRONIC #2 BLEED WARNING, 3 TIMES IN 3 HRS AND 4 TIMES IN 2 DAYS, ALL SIGNED OFF WITH 'CHKS OK, UNABLE TO DUPLICATE.'

Narrative: 2 DAYS PRIOR TO OUR ACCEPTANCE OF ACFT, ACFT HAD WRITE-UP FOR BLEED #2 LEAK IN CLBOUT. AFTER BOARDING AND PRIOR TO PUSHBACK, WE RECEIVED EICAS BLEED #2 LEAK AND LEAK LIGHT IN ENG #2 BLEED SELECTOR SWITCH. CONFIGN WAS BOTH ENG BLEEDS CLOSED, APU BLEED OPEN, XBLEED OPEN, BOTH PACKS ON, NO ENGS RUNNING, APU RUNNING. WE CALLED MAINT AND PUT IN AML (ACFT MAINT LOG). MAINT CAME TO ACFT AND FROM THE BEGINNING, BOTH CAPT AND MYSELF FELT MAINT PERSONNEL WERE DISTR AND DID NOT SEEM INTERESTED IN SOLVING OUR PROB. WE HAD COMPLIED WITH EPC AND AOM CHKLISTS. APPROX 2 MINS AFTER COMPLETING CHKLIST, WARNING WENT AWAY. MAINT FELT THIS WAS ACCEPTABLE AND RETURNED ACFT TO SVC WITH OPS CHK OK ENTRY. WHILE, MAINT WAS STILL IN COCKPIT WITH SAME CONFIGN AS ABOVE, WE. AGAIN RECEIVED BLEED #2 LEAK WARNING. AGAIN WE COMPLIED WITH ALL CHKLISTS. MAINT TOOK POSSESSION OF ACFT FOR APPROX 1.5 HRS AND RETURNED IT TO US, AGAIN WITH OPS CHKS OK, COULD NOT DUPLICATE ENTRY. 10 MINS AFTER WE TOOK POSSESSION OF ACFT, WHILE STILL AT GATE, BLEED #2 LEAK MESSAGE APPEARED AGAIN -- THIRD TIME IN 2 HRS. OUR FLT WAS CANCELLED. NEXT MORNING, CAPT REPOSITIONED ACFT TO ZZZ1. MAINT CORRECTIVE ACTION WAS AGAIN 'OPS CHKS OK -- COULD NOT DUPLICATE.' THIS SEEMS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE TO HAVE THE SAME WARNING 3 TIMES IN 3 HRS, 4 TIMES IN 2 DAYS AND HAVE THE CORRECTIVE ACTION BE 'COULD NOT DUPLICATE.' I WOULD LIKE THE FAA'S OPINION IF OUR MAINT PROCS ARE PROPER.
