Narrative:

Flying a part 91 flight. I asked company maintenance if the aircraft was airworthy and received an affirmative answer. I flew the aircraft from vny to teb safe and uneventfully. Days later, I was informed company maintenance wrote a grounding report, not issuing a return to airworthiness as they had indicated before departure.

Narrative: FLYING A PART 91 FLT. I ASKED COMPANY MAINT IF THE ACFT WAS AIRWORTHY AND RECEIVED AN AFFIRMATIVE ANSWER. I FLEW THE ACFT FROM VNY TO TEB SAFE AND UNEVENTFULLY. DAYS LATER, I WAS INFORMED COMPANY MAINT WROTE A GNDING RPT, NOT ISSUING A RETURN TO AIRWORTHINESS AS THEY HAD INDICATED BEFORE DEP.
