Narrative:
On apr/sat/04, I was taking a couple of friends up for a flight around the city. I was holding short of runway 7 when I called the tower and requested permission to depart. The tower came back and, from what I believe the controller said, to taxi into position and hold. So I came back and I believe I repeated those instructions to controller. After taxiing into position on runway 7, an airliner reported a cessna on the runway -- that's when the tower came back and told the airliner to go around and told me that the instructions were to hold short of runway 7. I came back apologizing and then the controller let me take off. I believe it was a misunderstanding between the tower and me.
