Narrative:

Taxiing to crosswind runway for intersection departure, waiting at intersection, tower said 'taxiing to runway 34, not taxi onto runway 34,' which is what I did and what caused the problem. I was expecting a departure at the intersection, so that is what I heard. To prevent anything like this from happening again, I will only accept precise verbiage.

Narrative: TAXIING TO XWIND RWY FOR INTXN DEP, WAITING AT INTXN, TWR SAID 'TAXIING TO RWY 34, NOT TAXI ONTO RWY 34,' WHICH IS WHAT I DID AND WHAT CAUSED THE PROB. I WAS EXPECTING A DEP AT THE INTXN, SO THAT IS WHAT I HEARD. TO PREVENT ANYTHING LIKE THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN, I WILL ONLY ACCEPT PRECISE VERBIAGE.
